Wags is a dog-walking service that I created early in my branding studies. This design explores just how typography alone can bring a sense of movement and playfulness to a logo.
Based out of Chicago, I created the Haze film company with the hopes to communicate sophistication through a modern lens. I was fascinated by ways I can alter typography that subtlely move ones eyes through the logo in an intriguing way.
Abode studios was a collaborative group project. Together we built an adaptive space that fosters community through creative classes. I enjoyed the challenge to communicate this abstract concept. Moreover, I needed to create an adaptive logo that also alludes to community. This is particularly seen in the reflective imagery of the "b"and "d" that creates a building.
Valor is a nonprofit company that I created to bring awareness to the strength, courage, and valor of children with type one diabetes. The shield reflects this determination while also alluding to the continuous glucose monitoring devices. In combination with the icon, "Valor" is also playful in the hand-cut appearance.
When rebranding this magazine company I researched their original headmast and reflected that glamourous Holywood typography here. Being a mostly digital world it was equally important to create an icon that was sophisticated in alluding to jewelry while still being adapable.
